NEVER TOO LATE

It’s been so long
I’m set in my ways
Never thought that I’d see, I’d see better days
‘Till you came along and turned me around
I was lost but baby now I’m found
You made me believe in what I could be
These are the words that you said to me

Maybe it's time to change
You don't have to stay the same
Leave it all in the past
You don’t have to wait
Just give it a chance
It’s never too late

I use to live and never learn
Thought that I was past the point of no return
Then the bottom dropped out
With the world crashing in
You showed me where to begin again

Chorus

I want to thank you
For showing me the way
I want to thank you
For showing me it’s never to late

Chorus

On every album, I write a least one song about my father. This Album has two---"Glasses Are Old" and "Never Too Late". My father was recently at an AA meeting and a man in his 80's was speaking on Alchoholism. After the meeting, my father asked why he quit drinking so late in life. He felt that there was no point in doing that when you're that old. The man's reply was: "Its never too late". This is my favorite song I have written about my father.
