NOW YOU'RE GONE

I had it all and then I stumbled
I know that it might sound a bit cliché
But I tried to call and then I crumbled
Sometimes I don’t know what to say
So I let it all just slip away
I took too long

Now you’re gone
I think about where I went wrong
Without you here it’s hard to carry on
And I swear, there’s something missing in the air
Without you here, I know I’m not all there

I’m hanging on by a memory
I can’t let it go, won’t let it fade
All I want is forgiveness
Sometimes it’s just too late
To say the things I should have said
I took too long

Chorus

Marlon Young and I origianlly wrote this song but felt there was something missing. Kevin Kadish, a writing partner from L.A., came in and helped rewrite some of the words and music for a better flow.
Everyone has had their first love. This song is about my first love and how when it was gone I realized what I had and what I did to lose her... and how long it took to move on.
